Can GCh. EX. Am. CFC UCI Ch. Plaisance Marquis Alexander CGN
Ch. Mountainview Plaisance Royale CGC x Ch. Sir Cedric's Marquise Whitney
Alex was my first homebred Best in Show winner, my first American champion and first International champion and the first to attain the Canine Good Neighbour title.
He was the 1st Canadian Grand Champion English Setter ( February 28, 2009) in Canada.
He sired 3 litters producing 5 champions , all group placers. Group winning, Ch. Plaisance Lord Hopedale and multi titled, Am. Ch. Plaisance Prince Gaspard BN RN CGC TDI JH CD CL1 CL2 CL3 are his grandsons.
Alex loved to visit with the clients in my salon, especially the kids getting their haircuts. He received lots of pats on the butt. Ever a Gentleman, he was a great ambassador of our breed. He always seemed to know when I had an apple, one of his favourite treats, in the salon for a snack so that I could share with him.
Alex was awarded the title of Canadian Grand Champion Excellent on February 5 , 2013. Sadly, the certificate came just 7 days after he crossed the Rainbow Bridge at 11 1/2 years. I am so proud of what you accomplished.
